The ancient parish church dedicated to Santa Maria Assunta is located in the hamlet of Fematre. It was erected in 1100 at the foot of Mount Fema, in Romanesque form and thanks to its location it became a very important not only religious but also civil fulcrum for all the neighboring communities.
