Of the original structure of the Rocca di Percanestro only some traces of the perimeter walls and a ruined tower with an irregular pentagon plan remain. This formed a complex defensive system with the Rocca d’Elce located on the edge of the Camerte territory in front of the Castle of Acquafranca (today Roccafranca), a northern offshoot of the Spoleto dominion first and of Foligno later.
The layout of the walls in white and pink limestone, a tower and other ruins of the central body are the only visible elements of the Elce Castle.
The nearby Church of Saints Peter and Paul (formerly of Santa Lucia, protector of sight and therefore linked to sighting) preserves 15th and 16th century frescoes and a 14th-century wooden statue of the Madonna enthroned with Child.
