-ACCESSIBLE-

Lake Caccamo is an artificial Italian lake, which takes its waters from the Chienti river, located in the municipality of Serrapetrona, in the province of Macerata, in the hamlet of Caccamo sul Lago. Also sometimes wrongly called "Pievefaver lake" or "Borgiano lake”, due to the proximity to the two hamlets of the same name.

It was created in 1954 to supply electricity to the nearby municipality of Serrapetrona and the neighboring municipalities. The main activity that takes place there is fishing; the basin due to its length is also suitable for rowing and for this reason numerous competitions are held there. During some days of the week there is also a fruit and vegetable market and a local fried food kiosk.
