It preserves Romanesque frescoes that can be classified as the oldest wall decorations in the Marche.
The church of San Lorenzo has two distinct halls: the smaller one that interests us here, and the older one with a single nave with a slightly raised vaulted ceiling dating back to the late Romanesque period, perhaps between the 12th and 13th centuries. On its walls emerge here and there very ancient frescoes and perhaps among the rarest that can be seen in the area. Unfortunately, they appear dilapidated, incomplete and reduced to poor fragments. On the left wall at the height of the altar, a crucifix appears partly still under the plaster, indeed under a coat of lime lying on the wall.
