Erected in the 12th century along the west - east route on the eastern edge of the Cesi building, a hamlet on the Colfiorito plateau, southwest of Serravalle di Chienti, between Taverne and Corgneto, the church of San Callisto was renovated in the 17th century. enlarged with sacristy, bell tower and rectory in the eighteenth century and has undergone numerous restoration interventions due to seismic events during the twentieth century, the most evident of which is the new design of the main façade created in the 1960s by the architect Paolo Castelli.
