Villa Maddalena di Muccia was built, in its present form, during the first half of 1600, on a pre-existing settlement, by Cardinal Angelo Giori, a native of Capodacqua di Pieve Torina, who was Master of the Apostolic Chamber during the pontificate of Pope Barberini ( Urban VIII), whose family often features the representation of the coat of arms (three bees) in the villa. The villa is now owned by the Zaccarini Bonelli family.

The architectural complex, which has always been used for the management of the farm on the surrounding land, is divided into two courtyards, one purely rustic characterized by rural structures (farmhouses, stables, cellars, bakeries, warehouses) and a manor still reserved for the owners. . The Villa can only be visited from the outside. The evocative church of Santa Maria Maddalena with fully decorated walls is incorporated into the complex.
